I am a creative mind that seeks harmony and balance in my designs, and am best described as being curious, positive, energetic, and full of life and imagination. My style is unique, cognizant of the many inspirations in my life and environment, allowing me to creatively push myself farther in each design that I undertake. I chose the Design Essentials program at BCIT and Emily Carr because I was looking for a challenge, and I can honestly say that at the end of this program I have grown greatly not only as a graphic designer, but also as an individual. My perseverance, patience, dedication, attention to detail, and strong enthusiasm for this program have given me a solid base towards finishing this adventure with a valuable set of skills under my belt. My future looks promising; I intend to start up my own freelance graphic design business, utilizing various skills attained through the business management, marketing, and sales courses I’ve taken in the past at BCIT. I look forward to taking on each challenge presented to me with a willingness to learn, a positive attitude, and an eye towards my ultimate goal: success.
