Born in Guatemala, Guatemala City and previously lived in Vancouver, has made my life a little more interesting. Coming back to Vancouver, after twelve years, I know I am right where I should be.
I have always been drawn to arts, starting my interest in drawing and painting classes at a young age. After graduating high school in my hometown, I officially entered the world of graphics and completed two years of a graphic design degree program. Not knowing where my career would take me, I never thought I would be coming back to Canada and have the opportunity of going to one of the best school’s in such an amazing city. The choice of packing and leaving half way through a program was difficult but I truly believe my choice of leaving everything behind and starting from scratch, was absolutely the right choice.
I find myself as a person that loves to be challenged and seeks constant personal growth. I am a down to earth, Spanish designer with a positive attitude. Energetic and enthusiastic. I believe in making mistakes once and being persistent, when it comes to goals in life.
I foresee my future in the industry working at an established graphic design company; art department or anything related that takes me one step closer to my goals. My ultimate goal is to freelance and have my very own company.
