Jocelyn's greatest passion is in the communication of ideas, whether they manifest themselves in illustration, fashion, poetry, design and art theory. What captivates her most in any disciplines is the potency of the idea and its ability to be effectively felt and understood by others. She came into this program to learn new tools to marry her artistic expression with technology.
Prior to this program she graduated from UBC with a BFA in Studio Art. Her mediums were drawing and digital art. Her artistic practice focused on gender identity, abjection theory and dark humor.
She hopes to engage in projects in advertising and branding as well as continuing to explore interactive digital art.
In the future Jocelyn sees herself constantly expanding her skills as a designer and as a conceptual thinker while trying to find novel or informing perspectives on the way the world works.
